Two relatively new players in the region’s multifamily market expanded their local footprint. Indianapolis-based Pearl Cos. unveiled plans for new projects, bringing its total investment in St. Louis to nearly $200 million. In addition, Denver-based Gold Block Ventures, led by former St. Louis Rams player Adam Goldberg, acquired the New Town Apartments in St. Charles.

GOLD BLOCK VENTURES ANNOUNCES THE ACQUISITION OF NEW TOWN APARTMENTS IN ST. CHARLES, MISSOURI

ST. CHARLES, Missouri – Gold Block Ventures (GBV), a Denver-based real estate investment and development firm, along with partners Reiter & Associates and Chase Properties Ltd., announces the acquisition of New Town Apartments in St. Charles, Missouri.

New Town Apartments is a 157-unit luxury residential property with an additional 68 units under development in New Town at St. Charles, a highly-amenitized master-planned community in St. Charles County. 2B Residential, an employee-owned, full-service multifamily real estate company and recipient of the 2018 Property Management Company of the Year by the St. Louis Apartment Association has been awarded the management and leasing assignment.

The acquisition of New Town Apartments is consistent with Gold Block Ventures’ strategy to invest in well-built multifamily assets in stable markets to provide stakeholders with attractive risk-adjusted returns. This transaction marks GBV’s second multifamily acquisition in the St. Louis Metro Area in the past 18 months.
