ADAM GOLDBERG
President/Principal
ADAM GOLDBERG has been active in multifamily real estate investment and development since 2005 when he assembled a small portfolio in Laramie, WY. After a nine-year career as an offensive lineman in the NFL, Adam left football in 2012 to partner with Don Berland at Berland Development Group (“BDG”). While at BDG (2012-2016), he developed the Park Place Olde Town project (153 units) in Arvada, CO. In July of 2016, Adam started a new real estate investment firm, Gold Block Ventures (“GBV”). Since then, GBV has established itself as an active multifamily investor with a core focus of acquiring newer assets in Middle-America markets that typically range between $15 million and $75 million.
JARRETT PRIMM
Principal
JARRETT PRIMM is Adam’s partner in GBV. Prior to GBV, he served as Director of Finance at BDG where he underwrote all potential transactions and oversaw asset management of the BDG portfolio (~800 units). Jarrett also has multifamily property management experience he gained from 2009-2011 in the Lexington, KY market. He has a MBA (with a concentration in real estate) from the LEEDS School of Business at the University of Colorado. He is a member of the Colorado Real Estate Center (“CUREC”) and serves on the CUREC Young Alumni Board.
WENDY CATTO
Director of Operations
Wendy Catto joined GBV in July of 2018 as Director of Operations. Wendy has worked in the construction and real estate industries for over 20 years holding numerous positions in sales and marketing, real estate transaction coordination, due diligence administration, Multi-Family HUD projects and property management. Wendy attended Metro State University of Denver (Business Administration) and has also acquired a Colorado Real Estate License.
RYAN LOWE
Director of Asset Management
Ryan joins GBV in 2022 after earning his Accounting degree from The University of Wyoming College of Business. Implementing his longtime passion for real estate, Ryan achieved "top student" status in his Fall 'of 21 Real Estate Investment course, taught by GBV Principal Adam Goldberg. During his time at UW, Ryan founded two companies, worked at a private accounting firm, and assisted with tax preparation through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Ryan’s accounting background and his knack for real estate equip him well to assist in GBV's analytical efforts and spearhead GBV's diligent asset management protocols. Ryan is a competitive golfer and enjoys many mountain region outdoor activities.
MATTHEW MCMENAMIN
Director of Finance
Matt began his real estate career in San Diego developing high-end spec homes and boutique multifamily properties. He then founded Powder River Properties, a residential acquisition company operating in Indianapolis. Matt uses his Business Management and Computer Science education from the University of Wyoming to apply a technical approach to real estate acquisitions.
